random updates

-the hubs was using a stump grinder and accidentally ground up a turtle. RIP speedy.
- my dad got a kolonoscopy on monday {don't tell anyone i told you, he'd shoot me} but i really want to get one. he lost 4 pounds in 24 hours! how sweet is that?
-crew went in for his 6 month check up tuesday {because it is his half birthday already, can you believe it?} he is slowing down with his weight now - bummer haha. he's only 71% for weight - 18 1/2 pounds and 85% for height and his head is normal. wooo. im so grateful for a healthy baby. but boy oh boy did he let it rip when he got his shots. he whaled and groaned. i'm pretty sure all the little kids in the waiting room thought someone was dying. but as morbid as this is, i always look forward to when he gets his shots {i know, i'm cruel} because that means all he wants is for mommy to hold him and console him. i am TOTALLY up for this :)
-after his shots, i got barfed on - alllllll in my hair. i'm so glad i showered BEFORE his appointment haha. your body is no longer your own when you have a baby and i mean that in every way possible.
-i just discovered pinterest. what is wrong with me? what took me so long? i have folder after folder saved on my computer with pictures such as those on the website. this is a dream.
-we had a yard sale on saturday and it was so much fun! i've always had a dream of wanting to have a yard sale and now it has come to pass!
-i am 3 pounds away from my pre-pregnancy weight. only taken 6 months haha. buuuut my body sure looks a little different!
-crew baby is a jumping/crawling machine
-we had a big scare this past month that the pig might have been a big brother haha... never been happier to use a tampon in my life. note to self - don't use expired birth control EVER again.
-however, we are both praying for a girl next. i've already started a big box going of frilly tights, hair bows, dresses, you name it. i'm sure we are going to have 348,790 boys though.
-the camera has officially been LOST. we are soooo bummed about this. this is the most important time to document the pig's life!!! so, we are on the hunt for a nice camera. if you have any ideas/preferences - let me know.
-my parents bought a house. yeah, seriously. their house is officially for sale now. BIG NEWS.
