just a note of thanks/love

okay, so i know i rag a lot on the hubs. but lets face it, he does some pretty crazy things. those things are the reasons i married him. i seriously laugh my fanny off all the time. buuuuut, this is a mushy gushy post - so carry on if you do not care to puke your guts out.

i married the hardest worker, ever. this is the most attractive quality to me. dev has huge dreams and follows them, hard. i love that about him. i love everything about him, well, almost everything :) i don't know what he was thinking when he married me because i have flaws out the wah-zoo but i am one LUCKY girl. i am definitely finding the truth to that statement the longer we are married. life just keeps getting better.

we have had so many adventures already and i could not be more proud of him. i am so proud to be his wife. i still get all giddy and excited when i see him in the halls of church and in the hallways at home, especially when he is holding crew baby. the hubs is a sexy dad. he is the BEST father. i never thought that he would be such a sweet father. he is so kind and thoughtful to me as a mother of the pig and he cares for our chubby bundle of joy with all that he's got. he would and does anything for that little boy. he is our whole world and dev just gushes about the pig to ANYONE that will listen. i love that.

we are not a mushy/romantic couple in the least. we have never had a candle lit dinner or anything along those lines because we are both

1. not creative enough
2. would laugh too much at the cheesiness

but our style is perfect for each other. ohhhhhhh i just love him!

since he graduated from byu-idaho in april, he has been studying his cute hiney off for the DAT - dental admission test. this is the pre-requisite to be able to apply for dental school. if you don't do well, you might as well pack up your bags and forget your dreams of being a dentist, seriously. it is a TOUGH test. i know some that have applied their max amount of times and not gotten into any schools. it can be a big bummer deal.

he was stressing hard core for this test. he had put in all the time and effort for it and should have been real confident but if you know dev very well, you'd know that he is SO incredibly humble and does not give himself the credit that he deserves, for anything. he is so smart and i knew he'd do well. so, we did a family fast for him and we prayed real hard that he'd remember everything he had studied and to have confidence as he went in to take it. and what do you know - BAM. who got a 20!? (that's really good)

i am SO proud of him! we have a BRIGHT future ahead of us and can NOT wait for what is next! dental school here we come, next fall! i'm not sure where we are going yet, but we will know where he gets accepted late this fall or around christmas time. we can't wait!
