merry christmas and eat some plastic

christmas was a blast with just the two of us. it was kind of bittersweet because it won't be the two of us for very much longer (HOPEFULLY). on christmas eve we got hot chocolate, drove around and looked at the lights all over rexburg, came home and read the nativity out of the scriptures, and opened christmas presents while listening to christmas music. it was perfect.

on christmas day dev had to work allllll day. dumb huh? but he did get double for it so we can't complain much :) anyways... the hubs family has this tradition where they always eat orange rolls on christmas morning. so, i thought i'd be a super duper wife and make him his precious orange rolls. so...



i spent TWO hours cooking them. i do not cook. yes, i love him THAT much! anyways... so, they are finally done and i take them down to work and i realize there was a piece of saran wrap on the sides... so i start feeling it off and it starts peeling off sections in the MIDDLE of the rolls too! i had forgotten to take the saran wrap off!!! i cooked the saran wrap INTO the rolls! i had put the frosting on the top and everything already. freaking terrific.

so, i start crying about my terrible rolls and to make me feel better - he ate TWO of them! he ate plastic for me. THAT my friends is true love.
