anyways - this run is 4 miles to sugar city and back. are you proud, or what? the hubs has been so good and has been encouraging me to exercise and even walks with me for a long part of the way because lets face it, i probably couldn't run that far on my least pregnant day of my life. well, a few exciting events happened on our run/speed walking escapade.
first - devin was wearing navy blue shorts, no shirt :), and white tennis shoes, right? well... he was walking back... and i starting whistling and hollering and putting my arms in weird motions - just being the typical crazy wife. as "devin" came closer, i realized he looked much taller than normal and his hair was darker and .... you get the point. DEFINITELY NOT MY DEVIN. by the time this guy walks by that is not at all my husband - he laughs and says hello and i am too embarressed and keep my head hung real low until after he passes. good going ashley.
IF BATHROOM HUMOR IS GROSS TO YOU - do not read this. and you're probably not my friend anyway.

second - i don't know what it is about running but it makes me have the worst toots. this is not just from the whole pregnancy thing - okay lets blame it on that then :) it sounds much better. anyways, we're speed walking back and i have to go to the bathroom BAD. and i mean B.A.D. not just number 1 but yes, a number 2 (i already have the baby lingo down!). so i'm trying not to poop my pants. little do i know, hubs finally shares info with me that he is going to number 2 in his pants as well. we are nearly 2 miles from home still. he said he tried flagging me down a while ago to go home and get the car to get him so i didn't have nasty laundry to do that night. i guess i missed that one. so we decide to try to book it to the house and try to make it to the bathroom as quickly as possible. BAD IDEA. as soon as we start running that awful number 2 feeling INTENSIFIES. long story short - we would run for very short intervals and then walk very fast, run for a little bit and then walk again. yes, we finally made it home safe with very minimal messes :)
because i am a kind wife, i let him use the restroom first - trust me - this is VERY nice of me because i married a woodruff boy. if you have ever stayed over night or used a bathroom after one of them, you'd understand. anyways, in order for him to pay me back for the use of the bathroom first - i made him go to my WIC appointment today. today was a video on breast feeding! so there we are, 3 girls in the room - the female instructor and my husband :) i was loving every second of it until the video started and boobs were EVERYWHERE. i'm not quite sure how i thought that wouldn't happen. anyways, devin looked at the floor in that room for about 45 minutes, ha! poor guy.

alright so the ANTS. we have ants. we got back this week from a week long trip to nampa and garden valley for the post family reunion (hubs mom's side of the family) and here we have ants! i don't know what to do! how do you get rid of ants fast? i hate them so much. i feel bad because on my run i avoid stepping on the grasshoppers and as soon as i get home i jump and stomp on as many ants as i can. is that bad?
bottom line - i need to take a good look at my husband and remember what he looks like before we go places and remind myself to go to the bathroom before i run.

Ha ha ha ha Me and Jarom are laughing out loud at that picture! mmmmm That sure sounds like a tasty burger! Good for you for Excersising! I still can't. I am just so dang tired and sick after a full day of work! YUCK! Hopefully I will be over this stage soon so that I can get around because I feel like a fat tub of lard! For real! Not diggin the "fat" stage! And excuse me...where are some pics of your cute belly?! I mean, I probably don't want to see them out of total jealousy of how frekain cute you are but no, I still want to seet hem! haha Tell Dev hello for me! Love you guys!!
Okay ants...we had them in one of our apt. in college. We just had to make sure that absolutely no food was laying around. If you feed them they keep coming back. And there is bug spray that you can use from like wal mart. You have to find out where they are coming from block their entrance (ours was a window) and then start killing their line. Ants travel in lines and paths and if you start spraying stuff on their line patterns they die. But killing them is really the only way to do it so keep up the stomping!
WAy to go on working out and being pregnant. I am not pregnant and can't run 4 miles! :)That is great! They say working out and stretching makes labor so much better!
If you don't have bug spray for the ants you can use W-D40. My mom uses that, and just sprays it wherever she sees them. And tiffany is totally right about the traveling in lines thing, so you have to throw them off.
For the rest of the entry, laughed the entire time! Love you!
