on saturday night we decided we needed to get out and away from the kids before they got hurt.... just kidding but seriously-- it's good for everyone's mental health! am i right??
my sweet sweet friend emily watched the kids for us and she is seriously a saint because she is due today! yeah, she's like the best friend ever.
well, as soon as we headed out, we both fist pumped and honked the horn a lot and then realized... we didn't know what to do on a date anymore. is that not the saddest thing, ever?! we don't go out a lot and man alive, we need to do it more! we've forgotten how to date, or at least HOW to go on a date.
so, we got some big root beers and drove to the scottsdale mall which is massive and found a tranny and people watched. we pretty much died from laughter. it was SO NICE to not have people stare at me because i was the stressed out mom with the kids screaming and trying to fit my double stroller down the escalator.... don't ask. i was like a normal person!!
we tried to go to this cute pizza place but it was seriously like a bajillion degrees in there so we booked it out the door. then we went to the grocery store to pick up a dozen donuts and shove our faces before we got home. i know, we have a serious donut problem. but, all the donuts were gone!! so, we went to krispy kreme on the way home and it was totally worth it.
what do you do on dates??
we totally need to do this date thing more often. i forgot how much i like this guy. he's freaking fun.

You guys are adorable! Making time for dates with little ones it's tough. Sounds like you guys had a blast though :)
