i guess you could say i'm trying to update as much as i can before the babe comes and i forget about blogging all together.

we are down to 10 days til the big induction date. i am starting to get pumped that i have a little more time now. i just keep making more projects for myself. i love it. remind me, i need to take pictures of the nursery - it's more crew's than this little one's but who cares -- these boys will be sharing everything in a matter of months, right?

i just realized the other day that i haven't written about the hard details of our lives - where we are, what we are doing and our plan. you know, the plan.{i mean, everyone has to have one!}

well, we have been living in northern virginia with my parents for the last year. actually, it's been over a year. i know i know - living with your parents that long - gag, right? well, it really has been kind of fun. my mom and i are two peas in a pod with all of our interests and our garbled language... we just really get each other. and lucky for me, dev and my dad have become bff.

woah, i haven't said bff since like sophmore year of my undergrad.

awesome.

so, that's where we've been. and dev applied for dental school last year and didn't get in. let me tell you, this has been a really hard year for us. a real growing one. which i think we needed. i feel like we have been SO blessed since we've been married and nothing has ever gone wrong and everything has been so easy - up until this year. then, i feel like it just coming down on us - dev couldn't find a job, crew needed surgery, i had to have emergency surgery, dev didn't get into dental school.... it was real tough. but honestly, i am so grateful for this year. if we kept coasting on good luck - i don't think we would've grown so much.

the hubs and i are seriously bff's. yes, there i go again.... but no joke, we are so close and so is our little mister and this new one that is almost here! i thought having another baby while not being in dental school and totally unsure of our future would be the scariest thing ever. honestly, it has been a bit scary but we've learned to have a lot of faith in the Lord and in each other.

sooooo.... dev has applied for dental school again this year. {it won't be until the fall of next year} we feel like it is the right thing and he has an interview coming up in a few weeks! we are so pumped!

now guess where it's at?

the least likely place i could ever picture us....

yupp. new york city.

NYU is where he will be on september 11th.

FREAKY HUH??

but we are so pumped and if he gets in, we will somehow learn to be city people. right?? we are excited either way! i'm just real proud of him for pushing on.

rah-rah-rah go hubs!!!

That's wonderful that you two could grow together during such difficult times!
