old things and baby things

okay, so i am the biggest sucker for anything old/worn/vintage. in other words, i hear of a thrift store and i'm ALL over it. well, the best we have in rexburg is DI and let me tell you - that deseret industries has scored me some awesome treasures. but this is my dilemma - i go in SO often that the checkers know my name. and since i'm not in school til next week (going back for my internship bla bla bla - so i guess i lied when i said i graduated and was done with school) and not working anymore, i spend all my quality time there. i guess there really is no dilemma but pretty much if i'm MIA - you'll probably find me at DI. does anyone know of any other good thrift stores around here?

well, as i'm getting ready for boo to make his grand debut to our family, of course i'm racking my brains out over his room. i have so many fun ideas and fun fabrics to make it real fun - i'm still having a hard time getting my thoughts together as to what i want to do. i like the whole decopage idea/ lots of patterns/ fun colors.... but no themes. i absolutely despise themed baby rooms. i see a winnie the pooh room and wanna pooh myself. but, don't get me wrong - it can be done tastefully but that's never been my thing. i found some cute patterns/rooms/random pictures that i totally love and want to kind of bring to the room:

that bed is made out of pallets! so cool! obviously, not making a bed for our little guy just right this second though.

i want to print this. frame it. and put it in the room.

what kid wouldn't want a teepee in his room? I DO!!!

i love all of these cute little elements.

i LOVE these hangy's. i wanna do that in our room, shoot!

love these lights and patterns so much.

i want this room. period.

basically, i have lots and lots of wants for this little baby, which i'm sure he won't care a bit as long as his bum is clean and he's fed. but isn't it fun to be a woman and have a mile long list of 'i want's' just because?
