i can't hardly believe it either.
yes, it is so warm that i wore my bathing suit and am currently STILL wearing it, just because i can and i want to. however, i do feel a little silly cooking dinner in my swim suit... not very traditional, but then again, neither am i!
anyways, devin and i laid a blanket out in the yard and just read... it was heavenly. yes, and it just happened to be twilight. which brings me to my huge news... dun dun dun... DEVIN IS READING TWILIGHT :) if you are a single guy and you just read twilight for fun. sorry to break the news to you, but you are gay. however, i made my husband read it, therefore, he is not gay. i actually love it. please tease if you will. just don't tell him i told you he's reading it :)

my little nephew is 2 today! my sweet little hiram. what a stud... seriously, he is precious. he makes me so excited for babies. so here's to you sweet little hi hi! devin and i love you a TON! you are a joy to everyone around you. you have the cutest little sayings and i'm so glad you remember me and devin now :) we taught him how to say "what's up homie" and he likes saying that occasionally now, what a cool guy. ps - his parents are AMAZING. david and carrie are the best parents ever... such a blast. makes sense why he turned out so stinking good.
we got some awesome sleeping bags from dev's uncle kim for our wedding and devin decided we wanted to try them out in the snow on our deck... he wanted to sleep out there, i almost let him. very tempting :)
dev also recently stole a tent from home (shhhh) and we tested it out sunday night. yes, we slept in our backyard to celebrate summer. well, we didn't stay out the whole night because i was a weenie and got too cold, but it was a good try!
inbetween semesters dev and i had to split... no, no divorce here... he went to nampa to be a big boy and shadow a good friend, and dentist at home. things are actually becoming more real with him having a real job in the dental field when things like that happen. and i went to st. george with my dad to visit the rest of my family down there. it was an absolute blast.
why was my dad in rexburg at all, you ask? well, i graduated. yes, i did. i'll put some pics up of that too. and also my friend kristen just got married and we were able to go to that reception in blackfoot... it was one the prettiest receptions i've EVER seen in a cultural hall... good job momma olbetter!
all in all, life is SO great. i'm really enjoying this whole unemployed thing for the moment. i'm soaking it all in until i get a job. (cross your fingers) we really have been blessed so much. our health is really good, we live in a wonderful house, we have a yard we can play in, even an area we're (i'm) going to plant some fun veggies and flowers in. won't fresh flowers in the house be wonderful? ahhh.... i love that. one of my very, favorite things. i'm so grateful for the way everything has been playing out. i know heavenly father really does have our VERY best interest at heart and everything will work out to make us the very happiest, in the long run. heavenly father wants to make us happy more than we even do. i love that. i really love my husband too... he's my rock and so supportive. i'm so happy for such a happy, dang FUN marriage. i feel bad for everyone else because they can't be married to devin!
here's to summer and happiness. may the good times keep rollin!
